I had a good long sleep last night. I dont know about others. But Im sure they had good one too. So today, we had to be ready by 8.30 supposedly cuz our appointment with Floting Leaf Bali was at 9am. But unfortunately, the breakfast was late delivered to us and the van also arrived a bit late.
Luckily, the breakfast was nice. Banana is never my thing. But their Banana pancake memang superb!
After I had my breakfast, while waiting for others, Diya and I went to check what do they have down the staircase beside our stay. The environment feels like the one inside Temple Run game, haha. They have a very small shallow river beside an unintended small temple I guess. We took some pictures and videos. And then we had to climb up back. Kind of regret went down there cuz I started to sweat already. hahahaha.

| macetttttt at sukawati market. |
well. Here is our second day group selfie :D We were on our way to send Yuuki and Mona to Maya Ubud Resort for them to do the precedent study for Design class assignment.
This is Sukawati Art Market where Sisho dropped the rest. Except for me and Diya. BECAUSE WE TOO HAD TO GO AND DO OUR PRECEDENT STUDY at Floating Leaf Retreat. So we missed the chance to experience whats around the market. But it's okay. :)
So now, its just the three of us. Sisho is taking us to Floating Leaf Eco Retreat. Sian Sisho. hahaha
We were 1 hour late. We reached there at 10 am.
Floating Leaf Eco Retreat is surrounded by paddy field.
We were welcomed by the staff named Mr Heri. The staffs were very friendly. They greeted us with drinks. We had about 1 hour tour with Mr Heri explaining about the place. Every single place is explained with details and it helps us a lot with our precedent study.
I was told that the place is designed by the owner Mr Mikako. He is a professor but not an architect. But all the idea of this amazing place is from him. He wanted to create a space where there is no boundary. He wanted when people stay there they feel connected to the nature. This retreat is designed with an open space plan. and the ambiance of the place really makes me feel at home. That is also one their main objectives. To make their guests feel like at home. They also have yoga class which is conducted at the top floor of this retreat.

And so we continued our journey to the next destination.
Green Village.
We were already late when we arrived there. And we only managed to go to one of the houses je.
What is so unique about this place is that, it is built up with 99% of bamboo! That is Eco enough guysss. This place is designed and hand-constructed by the famous Ibuku. They said that each houses is custom designed with different designed. Its located nearby the Green School, which is also designed and constructed by Ibuku team.

Green Village Group Pic :D
After Green Village, We went to where they made and process the bamboo. There is no picture there because we are not allowed to take picture. There we learnt a lot on how the bamboo is being processed. How it is being made into furniture and the structure. How they choose the bamboo from the tree.
After that we are taken to Green School. It is just 5 minutes drive away from the factory.
Greenschool is an amazing school which apply sustainability in their education system.
Besides the essential core subjects like maths, english and science, they also have creative art curriculum and green studies curriculum. Their school doesnt look like what most people think of how school should be like. Green school is made of bamboo, a local, natural and renewable sources. Being close to the nature, the classrooms built without walls which is a good learning environment for the students. It is located along the Ayung River. Education at green school is to prepared for the Green Leadership for tomorrow. They aim to be the first model of first sustainable education in the world.
Our last stop for today is Bale Udang Mang Engking. It is a restaurant btw. hahaha
They have 2 branches. One in Kuta and one in Ubud. The one that we went is in Ubud. Finally, we had our lunch+dinner. So hungryyyy. I was okay with anything Diya ordered cuz too tired and too hungry to think. haha. So she ordered a set of food for 4 pax. We shared with Tahsin and Chee Keat.
This is how the food look like.
This set cost Idr250000 without drinks.
