This is how we taking over Bali.

Bali is known as The Land of Gods. From the spectacular mountains view to the beautiful beaches, the warm and friendly people, the vibrant cultures and arts, Bali is one of the best places and worth the visit.
As we are taking Experience Culture 1, which required us to go and experience place outside of Malaysia, we have decided Bali. Bali has always be on top of my list. I was glad that my classmates chose Bali for this experiencing culture. We have been planning about this trip since last year. I mean can you imagine how excited we were about this trip. As the class started earlier this semester, our first task was to do a bunting for us to bring to Bali. The process of the the bunting was fun. We get to know Bali before we go, I mean a bit through books and internet of course. We had to do a sort of  art which we had to describe Bali in visualizations which I think we made it. Then, we are required to do a travel plan we had to research on places and interesting spots in Bali that we can go. All these assignments helped us to get to know Bali before we reach there.

Everyone was very excited to go there. As for me , it was my second time. But of course it is different because this time around I get to experience it with  my classmates. So we were told or I can say "warned" that Bali was going to be hot. I mean like very very hot. So yeah, preparation mentally and physically had to be made. :D I brought all thin cotton shirts and pants with hope that I wont be sweating much. Hahaha.

A night before the trip,

As usual, all the packing things always be my last minute kind of thing. And I was in dilemma of how many clothes should I bring and that time also I wanted to charge all my cameras and powerbank, which camera should I bring, finding all my cables. It was 1 am by that time. I had to be at KLIA Transit by 4.30 am. So yeah. No sleep!

The First Day.

As expected, even though I was late which I was supposed to be at the station by 4.30 am but I wasnt, my friends came even later than me. The train was 2 minutes away and they were not still at the station. Suddenly, I saw them running from the other side and climbed the staircase. hahahaha.
And yeah, as usually I was the one with big bags. So we reached KLIA2 at 5.30 earlier than other groups. Yuuki and I went to wrap our bags. The others didnt want to. I always think, whenever we want to check in our luggage, it is more safe if we go and wrap it first. First is because of the safety. I mean who knows, strangers at the aiport can do anything like insert the drugs inside the pocket of our luggage. Second, by wrapping the luggage, at least, it can prevent our luggage from breaking. As we all know, the staffs are not as gentle as we think. They might just throw our luggage here and there. I mean, they dont care cuz its not theirs.  So, for your own good, wrap your luggage no matter what!
The crowd there was phewwwww. People were already in lines waiting for check in. We managed to check in our luggage early. After all the check in things done, the lecturers went inside to the gate. The lectures who went, of course Ms Baizura our experiencing culture 1 instructor, Ms Liz and Mr Hafiz. Everyone was starving and so we went to have our breakfast at The Loaf even though we already booked our lunch on the plane. Hahahahaha. Cannot tahan the level of starving. After that, we all went inside and waited for the plane to take us away to Baliiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. As usual, while in the process of waitingggg....

Group selfie before boarding

Bound for Bali.....

After 2.5 hours of flight,we finally reached in Bali. wohoooo. I met Bali again after a year. This time around I came with new faces. And yeahhh, it was a longggggggggggg queue at the immigration counters.
I was in a longgggg queue.

And these are people who cant live without Internet :D

And right after we got our bags. Guess what happened?
Diya's bag was broken.. yeahh. Told you already to wrap but dont want listen also. haha.

But luckily the airport has wifi so the waiting didnt even matter for us hahahahahahaha

Waitttttt,
we were still inside the airport. With air conditioning.

Just right after we went outside, I could feel the heat already. And I already started to sweat like h*ll! Maigadddddddd. It was so hot. Some more we had to wait for others cuz they went to buy simcard. Come on guys. Later also can. The waiting was torturing. hahahaha

Our guide which was also our driver waited us for so long already. He thought our flight was delayed. His name is Sisho by the way. And Im very sure the spelling of his name is correct. :D
Sisho is from Surabaya. But he's been working in Bali for 5 years already.

That guy is Sisho aka Bob Marley Bali :D
So, from the airport we went straight to Ubud. Ubud is located 1.5 hours away from Bali's International Airport. Ubud is slightly cooler than other places in Bali maybe because it is surrounded by paddy fields. It is also famous for its regularly nightly traditional dance performance.

So this is our first day selfie inside the van. Without Mr Hafiz :D Well, we looked just fine in the picture. but actually everyone was suffering like inside an oven.

At first everyone was so excited. Taking all the pictures. But after few minutes, Most of us fell asleep. Hahahaha. Incuding me. When I woke up, we were already in Ubud, stucked in a jam. But all of us already excited enough because we were surrounded by shops for shopping. Hahahaha.
Luckily, the place we were staying just a walk away from all these shops.
This is the place where we stayed for 2 nights.

This the view from my room. And of course Diya is my roommate. Nothing can separate us. Hahahaha. We managed to get room at the ground floor. The others had to climb up the staircase :D
After freshen up, Diya and I decided to go out already. The rest wanted to shower first. But Diya and I didnt want to wait cuz we were excited enough to go and see around. And of course to spend some money too. haha

This picture was taken at the valley nearby Igna Bungalows. We had to pass this street first where they have small shop lots selling clothes to get to Igna Bungalows.

A very narrow street I found along the street at Ubud.

A video of the kids playing some sort of traditional music.  Those kids played the instruments while they moving along the Ubud street.

The shops along Ubud Street.

Im a crazy dream catcher girl. I collect dream catcher from all the places I went. So far, Indonesia has the cheapest dream catcher ever. I mean like, for the small size you will get rm15- rm30 in Malaysia, but here, the cheapest you can get is RM3!!!. I know its crazy. I actually found one giant dream catcher and it is neatly knitted. Its about 2 meter long. And cost only Rm150. Its wayyyyyyyy cheaper. You cant get this price in Malaysia. for sure! haha. So I bought without even think about whether it can fit inside my luggage or not. and it did not fit in. hahahaha.

After strolling around with Diya,  finally! They finished showering and called me. and they were starving and we met somewhere to go and find food.

The Hungry faces :D

After dinner, we went for window shopping. I was already sweating. Even at night also still feel hot..
Our activity at night was swimming. Only someone of us went inside the pool cuz the rest are scared of water! hahaha

To be continued...
